Email Sarah Stout. Michael Yoder, Chief Executive Officer
Mike has been involved in the Human Resource field in one way or another since 1991. As a management-side employment law attorney at Baker & Daniels in Indianapolis, Mike developed deep Human Resource legal and practical expertise. He also held Human Resource management positions at Eli Lilly & Company and the City of Indianapolis before becoming an entrepreneur – co-founding Dewitt & Lane, a business consulting company. Mike graduated magna cum laude from Taylor University with a BA in Political Science and History and obtained his JD cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. Mike is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Mike joined Servant HR in 2008 as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Email Loren Elms. Loren Elms, Payroll / Benefits Administrator
Loren has acquired extensive personnel and managerial experience while serving as a departmental and office manager for over sixteen years. He has a diverse background as a “details man,” having had numerous opportunities to develop and utilize his skills in research, computer literacy, training development, management, and consultation. Loren enjoys working behind the scenes in order to facilitate and streamline methods that assist others in achieving personal and company goals. In addition to his work with Servant HR, Loren serves as the director of the International Academy of Music, in which he has regularly taught and coordinated a variety of undergraduate training courses and workshops for the past eleven years.

Sarah has been in the human resource field approximately 10 years. During that time, she has worked for large retail organizations as well as Human Resource Service Firms serving small to mid-sized businesses in Human Resources, benefits and payroll. Sarah’s extensive background has allowed her to help employees with many complicated issues and work in their best interests. Sarah currently holds two degrees in Business, both focusing on Human Resources: a Bachelor of Science from the University at Buffalo, and a Master’s Degree from Ball State University. Sarah also is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and teaches Business classes in the Adult Program at Marian College in Indianapolis.
Email Karen Clark. Karen Clark, Office Administrator
Karen attended Pensacola Christian College and received her BA in Sacred Music and minor in Speech. She has been able to use both of these talents over the past 18 years at her work, church, and in her home. Her skills include the ability to productively multi-task, maintain excellent organizational skills, along with developed communication and coaching skills. She has the ability to see what needs to be done and takes the initiative to do it. Karen holds her Indiana Insurance License.
Email Sarah Stout. Jayne Blazier, Staff Accountant
Jayne provides the accounting and bookkeeping functions for Servant HR and its clients. This involves tax filings and required reporting for clients, as well as all general accounting functions for Servant HR. She has deep experience in all of these financial functions with nearly 20 years of experience with such diverse employers as The Personnel Department, Perkins Family Restaurants and Mike’s Carwash.  Jayne also has experience in developing centralized accounting and purchasing processes for more efficient financial operations.
Email Jeff Leffew. Jeff C. Leffew, Founder and President
Jeff graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri with a BS degree in Business Management. Jeff also obtained an MBA from Taylor University. He has spent over fifteen years working in the human resource field.

First, as a Personnel Assistant at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Then he went on to Volume Services in Kansas City, Missouri as the Assistant HR Director for the service agency of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Thereafter, he came to Indianapolis, Indiana to work for The Personnel Department, a start-up administrative employer organization. In 2000, Jeff began his first entrepreneurial venture by co-founding Strategic Partners Consulting in Kansas City, Missouri. Later he sold this company to his former employer and then continued on as the CEO for the next three years. After ten years in the industry serving companies throughout the midwest, Jeff started Servant HR in the summer of 2003 as a result of his desire to become “small” again and serve the true needs of his clients.
